Gelijk naast de grote moskee in Mandu ligt het mausoleum
van Hoshang Shah.

Tomb of Hoshang Shah
The work on this marble tomb mausoleum was begun by Hoshang Shah and completed by Mahmud Khilji in about AD 1440.
Entered through a domed porch, it lies in the centre of a quadrangle and is roofed by a large dome with smaller cupolas at the corners. The screenwork and ornamental mouldings of the interieur are noteworthy.
The tomb was regarded as a sacred shrine and the architects such as Ustad Hamid (Ustad Ahmad Lahauri was chief architect of the Taj Mahal in Agra) associated with the Taj-Mahal came here to pay homage in AD 1659.
The colonnade in the west wing is styled Dharma-Shala probably because of its Hindu style of construction.

De colonnade (rij met kolommen) die uitgevoerd is in de stijl die Dharma-Shale stijl genoemd wordt.
Aan de rijke versiering is te zien dat dit in de Hindoestijl is uitgevoerd. Dat in tegenstelling tot het Moslim grafmonument.
