Vanochtend gekeken naar ‘A Christmas Carol’.Een verfilming van het kerstverhaal van Charles Dickens.In de hoofdrol Anton Lesser.Deze verfilming speelt zich af 22 jaar nadat het verhaal is geschreven.In die tijd zonder televisie, bioscoop of internetwaren mensen voor de verhalen afhankelijk van de wekelijkse krant.Maar Charles Dickens reisde ook door het land om lezingen te geven.Hij vertelde zijn eigen verhalen zo voor een groot publiek.Die praktijk wordt in deze film toegepast.We zien Dickens het verhaal vertellen aan een groepfamilieleden en vrienden.Hij draagt voor/acteert het verhaal.Heel mooi gemaakt door de BBC natuurlijk.
